"Considering taking the plunge on a 13 with ABS.... Have abused the shit out of my bike testing a ton of shit, if I can upgrade for a reasonable amount of $$$$ why not. I have been riding sportbikes for 25 years literally, even though I don't feel like I NEED abs.... I wouldn't mind having it. Pipe, PCV, ECU flash and no more performance mods for me this time around on new bike".

Nobody feels like they NEED ABS....until they actually NEED IT! and it saves their ASS. It's proven technology so if it's there then why not have it? The pricing of it is another issue.

Seno, you have found the Holy Grail! Most of the aftermarket mods are not worth squat. I feel like you do, fix it so its comfortable and then leave it alone. I ride with no cost to me as I have no maintenance (very little) since I have no mods.

Honestly, my hat's off to the folks who like to "tweak 'n peak" their ride.

I am on the side of the fence that says "If 'n it aint broke...", and am very happy with my very low maintenance and repair bills... and monster big power as stock.

How about that fellow who showed us the results on his plugs, having them melted down to no electrode (and melted a hole in #4 piston)? Never saw anything like that before...

The 2012 has real badges on the tank, fairing, and tail. The 2013 went back to stickers. I think I'll stick with my 2012, I'm not a fan of the look with stickers even if the new model has ABS.

haha, the stickers make it so much lighter! I mean, seriously, the '13 probably saves a whole 3 ounces over the overweight badged '12...I like the raised badges just fine, until my microfiber rag gets stuck on the sharp edges.

I think the badges look way better than stickers. I am not getting into the ABS vs non-ABS debate.
