I'm not for or against ABS.

In what circumstances could I get into that conventional braking would not be useful?Or possibly dangerous?Remember..I'm talking a rider with time under his belt....understands the physics of chassis attitude and braking characteristics, and is attempting to stop or avoid something quickly without skidding. Can this be done?Stopping quickly without skidding?.And steering through the situation while applying the brakes agressively.

Grn14 it's great that yer sitting on the fence about ABS But GP riders dont have the same senario as us on the streets, Theres a lot of crap here in Ozz about lowering the speed limits bro im 100% against that as with GP riders when we have our "Race Face" on we are concentrating like we "Always" should !

Or possibly dangerous?Remember..I'm talking a rider with time under his belt...
now im no expert but anything that could of stopped my 18 + month lay off to me is a good thing I have been riding like a Madman fer 32 years (thats not counting the last 18 months LOL) one thing I would like to point out is !!!

IMO

In a split Second like mine at only 20-25 kmph (6/14/10) !! it might have bin a different outcome for "ME" had I had like Honda's Dual Brake Technoligy as mentioned twice before(CBR1100xx) or a ABS option (which enables to steer while locked up)@ 49 years old im all for anything to take the Human Error Factor out on the "STREETS" when I need MICRO Seconds to react! JMO &

It's like Hub said..."you've never hammered a bike with ABS"...he's right.I haven't.I can see how being able to apply the brakes hard without skidding is a great thing. It is.Probably just as Privateer said...."having em save ya one time is enough to make ya believer" or somethin like that.Ya...I'm with that alright.

Bean can rehab on the front lever. Step up his riding prowess. Anshit, if rain mode is set like a regular 14 with that ignition/sub/spit setting, it's step it up to sport mode. Between ABS accel and ABS brake, you'd want both on a bike like this. YOu always have the 'bow out' mode.

You'd like it, Grn. I'm going to say, you'd be stamping and crying about switching from carb to FI in NASCAR. That guy that cried, you ask him in a few races, how that throttle feels now, he stabs a plate open? You stab on an ABS fluid ratcheting.

Ya...I'm sure you're right. It would be nice to not have to worry about "slamming on the brakes" and skidding.
