I WAS going to have the those black wing pieces chromed. Instead, I removed the black wing pieces and using a Dremel tool, cut off the section that supports the wing piece. I installed chrome plastic door edging on the cut section of the fender. Also, because the fender attachment brackets now show a little bit, I sent the brackets to be chromed.
