Ninjavin - Can't go wrong with the Roman's Flash. He's been in this ECU since the software came out and has gotten as much as one can get out of it. Dollar for Dollar the best mod you will do to your bike. I'm sure he only charges $250.00 for his flash, which if you think about it is less than a pcv. You WON'T be disappointed.
I've run it in my gen 1 and now my 2 and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I have been meaning to ask you guys... Can you really "seat of the pants" detect the difference in power with some of these flashes? I'm running the Guhl's flash and a full Brock's alien head 2 system and I honestly can't seat of the pants tell anymore. The acceleration of the bike doesn't produce ANY adrenaline anymore and maybe I have just grown accustom to its power. The only rush I get anymore is by defeating another rider in accelerate combat. Still stock wheelbase running consistent 9.11-9.18 passes and I'm numb to its power. It kinda makes me miss the days when the pull of the bike was a rush.

I'm thinkin with your strip runs and such...you're gonna get used to the power...for us other street riders...yup...can definitely tell.I can anyway.Still makes me use caution at certain areas of my rides.I ran the Brock's flash and his exhaust system on my 2012...that was a while back...flashes have come up since then(different anyway).Main thing...got rid of the Powercommander. That was a plus IMO on my bike.My altitude is in the 5K ft range...so I know I'm not getting 'full potential' from my flash(s).But plenty kicks for me....I'm good with mine.I can most definitely feel a difference when it's cold out here.I know she's gaining HP and torque....sometime I'm gonna head down to sea level...just fer kicks...

I still ride it on the street often but I sometimes find myself holding the throttle wide open and glancing around waiting for it to redline. I actually broke the little throttle stop peg on the throttle assembly from over twisting it during a run at the track. I have it zip tied but I really need to get in there and figure out how to remedy that.

The acceleration of the bike doesn't produce ANY adrenaline anymore and maybe I have just grown accustom to its power. It just seems like there ought to be more there sometimes. I need drop in pistons and head work.
Maverick I share your feelings. Just hard to question the sanity of needing more than what a 1441 cc motorcycle has to offer. But Yes. IMO pistons and heads will not give you what you search for. 225 hp just won't do it. Dollar per HP gain = only one way to go. Click Here Cick Here If you get a chance to ride a finally tuned boosted bike go for it. Truly is a rush and is bar far the most fun I have ever had on two wheels. Never gets old.

Yeah I was introduced to turbos a few years ago when I purchased a GST Eclipse. I was fascinated by the little 4g63 powerplant and its turbo. Once the turbo bug bites you there is no relief from its incessant nagging. My only complaint with a turbo drag bike is that any and all chances of racing 99% of the guys at any track would be completely eradicated. I know a guy in Louisiana that rides a 60" turbo hayabusa that has seen 7s through the 1/4. Remember our bikes are 58.5" stock so he is only 1.5" longer and getting all that power down the track. That has to be one crazy ride down the 1320. Unlimited power wheelie.

This is so true. Boost calls to you for one more ride. There have been many times when I have said "Why did I ride the first one".
The bug took hold of me one summer when a buddy passed me while I was on my 2007 ZX-14. At the time I was wide open when he went by me back tire spinning on a boosted ZX-12. My jaw dropped inside the helmet, in my head I knew from that day forward I had to have boost, I was hooked. Like you post above, No race at all. I was "Completely Eradicated" lol
I did make a honest effort this summer to stay off the boost crack pipe but failed. My thinking was run E-85 flash and a little more hp might fill the gap. But nope, fell off the wagon. It would seem I Can't help myself now, so I'm no longer fighting it. To much fun to forget. By the End of this Month Both 14's will have forced lungs.

I'll bet, any video, that had to be one wild ride,,, you first lol 7s at 60" = OMG run.
From your thread Maverick you sound ready to make the jump. Other wise I would have said nothing. Boost is something you can't push on people you have to want it. It's Sick. Game changer. No matter what you decide I look forward to reading about your progress, have fun Mav. Cheers.

Help Please.
Guys I'm making this post to provide info to all of you here who are flashing ECU's. We have a corrupt Bin.
The Story.
I have recently obtained ECU # 21175-0715 to Flash.
In short, What I have discovered during the copy over is that the bin file is corrupt. I only realized this after I made my copy into the New bin file. After a study of all my flash files all looked ok. But, had some highlighted Red in places they should not have been. Odd, after more study, What I have learned is this ECU bin file is corrupt deep inside. These files I can not see or repair. Now what ?
I have made the call to Justin at woolich and he too was in shock to hear what I have found. After his study of the bin file, the bin has now been removed from all the Woolich software. Which is great news. We do not want this to happen to anyone else.
So here is what I need if any of you can help. I need a clean bin file 21175-0715. How this can be obtained if you have one of these ECUs; First plug in woolich hardware, Second Flip switch to Red LED on. Now Justin tells me his software will now read and ask you to send a saved copy. This copy will make it back into his software directory for us all to use.
Had I known this file was corrupt before I started I could have been the one to provide the clean file. As it is now I am in possession of an ECU that is useless in it's current state. With out a clean bin it's garbage.
Guys if this saves just one of you from making the same mistake this post had some value. Please Help if you can. Cheers
Hi RickHope you are well. Yes i think you are right, i just checked the map locations and they are correct, so it appears as though there must be a problem with the map data read from the ECU. it was a customer who read the bin file. I will disable it for now and the next customer to use the software with that ECU will be prompted to send a new read through. Thanks for pointing it out, not sure why we have not come across it yet.
Cheers
-Justin.

Romes,This ECU had a corrupt bin from the factory? If so this might explain my preignition problem.
Hagrid that's the million dollar question. A Woolich customer would have to read this file from his ECU. Personally I can't see that being the issue. Maybe he had a voltage issue during the read and saved the corrupt bin. I repaired all the files and saved, but there is more wrong that what can be seen from Woolich. The entire bin is NFG. Now, so is this ECU until some one does a proper read. There were issues in the Ignition file as well as STP file. Plus Plus Plus that can't be seen.
