New to the forum and the ZX14. I started out on dirt bikes when I was 11 and graduated to a street bike when was 21. It was a Kawasaki Spectre (I think). I joined the Army in 2000 at the age of 25 and have been doing the Army thing for 13 years now and love it. During my second deployment to Iraq I bought an 07 FZ1 and in the following three years put 12,000 miles on it. When I moved to Montana on a three year recruiting detail I traded my beloved FZ1 for a hunting truck and regretted that decision for the last 3 years. A month ago I purchased my 14 and with my wife on the back have put over 2100 miles on it completely wearing out the rear tire. Just got done mounting my new rear tire and wanted to post on here and stop just anonymously browsing. I have always done all my own maintenance on my FZ1 (everything from Power commanders, removing the flies to changing tires) so I look forward to doing the same with my 14. Its a 2009 SE with a few mods. Hello All!! Thanks in advance for the wealth of info on here.
