The Gilles axle nut has got to be a huge difference compared to stock. The Probolt Ti version is still 50 grams. Stock has to be about 90 grams.

I was looking all over for those safety clips - even as a fokkernadel lol. Finally found them here: https://www.kurveygirl.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=841 . That's the size I just ordered - and their stainless steel as well! It's not spam - when you see the site you'll laugh. Female racer also selling stuff - motorcycles not porn - she says lol.
Nice Ti hardware there too - I ordered a Ti drain bolt pre drilled for safety wire and it has both a hex outside as well as a star inside socket.

Here's how I did it with those clips from above. The throat was too wide where the clip would rattle around. So I cut off the hook and then bent a new hook so that I can clip it and then push it over the nut and it sits nice and tight - no rattles. Safety wire isn't as close as it looks in the pic - there's no way it'll touch the sensor wire.
