Aprilia RSV 1000

Mat,

So, bored with bulletproof are we? You want problems. I want you to match year for year, mod for mod, and maybe I'm spoiled, but there is nothing wrong with snowflake short of that 6 all throwing numbers at me but that is it. I thought I fixed that, but guess watt? It is one of the 3 variables and I already know it's a male/female pin connection. And that was me messing with that area. And if I didn't...

ninjamaster already gave you the heads up on one site. Try 'tuonozone.' That is more local for your area. As for the bike or that model, it's all it says it is. But execution wise... I can't put a name on it yet. Lots of nagging bugs. You are handcuffed to the dealer for some hand held unit.

Send a message to these manufacturers or we will call the old reps and have said universal hand held units like they do with cars. They can kiss my ass on that part of the stick it up their collective end game.

Hey, ninjamaster, tell me something. Is this about a full tank and it does not even disturb the handling? Does this handle like a light switch you change directions? Then jump on that 14 and feel the rail of a tug on the bars.

Say, ninjamaster, tell me something. Does this bike ride more comfortable seat wise without a seat more or less, or is it my flat ass matching that ape pad? I ride anymore on that 14 with that brick wall of a cushion, it makes a bicycle seat seem more comfortable.

Romes, You might get into this stuff http://www.randomexploits.com/projects/ecu/map_selectors.htm It's the Aprilia line I'm playing with. This guy is a programmer/EE that knows how to select watt parts anshit. That motherboard is an engine block. You just have to know what cams fit, what crank wont burn up the grid kind of assembly.

If I could program, build the box... I could answer all those questions. But this guy goes right up to a blank for me. He still does not answer my question. So, I'm stuck without some factory programmer explaining the secret concept to the abstract of that box being in 3 dimensions. In other words, it works as programmed. But that is not the question.

He was building some unit to read off a thumb-drive card. He finds out the thing needs to jump or CAN COM itself, being it's shorting or opening 010101's all bashing into each other, not flowing to the next step. I mean, he had that first board figured out, he thought. Then, knowing watt parts to use for building one of these, the story goes on.

So anyway, ninjamaster, are you at the same address? I'm going to send your ECU back with a token something along with it. As per your diagnosis, it's junk. If you want, I can donate it to Christian Piasini, or RidgeRacer for studies.

I haven't noticed any different handling aspects of it full or empty.Bike has been a joy to own and ride.No problems except for the oil tank that cracks by the mounts.Just pull off and get rewelded.

I'm getting fed up with theurothink. Don't get me wrong, being behind some old non-emission smelling classic farm truck is not a nice smell under your helmet. I am pro-cat and won't pull it because the flow is the same. As fast as it cooks through that honeycomb, that says it is pushing faster if that air is still being heated up. We cat straight?

That V-4 platform sure can make some HP if we slice off a Keith Black kind of V-4 off of a dragster. Tire churning torque in the N/A. And instafit is that blower down her middle. So easy an installation, no? That ape looks so good. Lighter then 400 pounds. That shift up electrics has my dick down there shifting it. I got a hard on for this bike.

I am looking at that 14R and it should have said TR for, Torque Ripper. I gotta sell both bikes or trade it in for some italian tuneup ride? Like I said, I had to take a ride, found that front end coming up. This ape has a lot more bells and whistles and the japanese need to take a lesson on that shifter patent.

You see me with that shipjumper bike... That ape is looking better than 5 pounds of not so much in the preset. Yes, I know you can get more with a lot of work. Here at, leave her alone in my garage, all I see is 119 from 114. That under 400 pound set of mode switch is drawing me to it... Until...

See, ninjamaster, just what I was saying. I have italian handling. This bike is built like someone put it together in one of those biker build off shows. The guy knows nothing, here are the parts. Start it up within 30 days and it's yours. Shiiiiit. The way this bike is built, it would take 30 hours to make a new one from scratch so the bars can lock as designed. I swing to full lock, the way this bike is so poorly designed, there is no other way than to squeeze at those cables. You would think the cables would clear before you hit the fork stop, right? Not this bike. Very first bike that did that too, I might add. Sad. You mentioning the oil tank break? Shiiiiiit, that says more poor design execution.

I might throw up I walk the 360 on that pile of wonder. Thanks, no headaches for me. I do enough R&D and she does not care one bit. I mess with this one hit wonder, she cries code and I didn't even do anything... LOL

Here I am trying to keep up with the Kruz-Machine, clean up the bike, not a thing wrong with it. I jump off the Tuono, helmet still on, gloves still on, say hi to the sales/parts people, go over to the V4 and sit on it. Was it as comfortable as the Tuono? Nope. What was I doing there and why would I trade in the better sitting bike?

I convinced myself I've had enough of this exotic mix of bike, engine, and electrics. Sometimes the idle is high, sometimes it's normal. Yes, it is [02] closed loop. Yes it's easy to cycle the key to recycle the idle down. The bike is kind of cheesy with off the shelf connectors. Way too much money for a rotax not made in house?

I think I'll just sell it, park the money waiting for the next hp gain from mother teapot.
