I'm not surprised that you would have the bike just that you would be thinking about bringing it to a track already. Not a problem. I'm sure the track staff expects everyone to go home with there bike nice and shiny and in one piece. That's what they always stress at BHF. They really don't encourage you to race....but sooner or later well you know. And I'm sure the upper level riders can be somewhat competitive with one another.

People do crash though. Two riders went down in my group. None went down in Novice class last year on my first track day. I believe people walk away almost every time but a bike ?? well they do not bend much.... Now a faster track would seem a more dangerous place to crash. Cornering at 80-100 mph is a lot different than 40-60mph.

Nope never tried that. Mine is a pay/minute so I would have a photo collection worth over a thousand bucks.

I would host them through photobucket. That is a lot easier to organize and it is fast. Once your pics are loaded to photobucket, just copy the Image code for the pic you want to post and paste that into your message. Don't need to type any tags or nuthin. All done.

@Dogo: thank you for the friend price on your leathers. I probably will take you up on that in a while ;)

No prob... I've got some nice stuff, but have dropped some weight and have no intentions of going back. Sending it all off to be cleaned. Should get back in about a month. My inlaws own a cleaners, but since I don't pay, my stuff gets done when it gets done.

One thing he told me was slightly alarming: one track day consumes a set of tires.

He's bullshitting you... Most track day riders buy race take offs and get 4-6 days outta them. And if you run your street rubber, you're just gonna be wearing the edges that rarely get used on the road.

......but if you go to the track with more than 1/3 used up, be prepared to hand over your wheels for new rubber at the track. You need to check withe Beaver to see what their policy is. BHF says 1/3 or less tire wear.

Nice vid Rook. I haven't taken the 14 out to the track yet, gonna wait until my kid has enough miles on his CBRF2 to join me. I took my ZX10R Streetfighter( for sale by the way...) and had a blast, except for the bent brake rotor I had at that time....

I'm getting a few things out of this. Guy leaves the field, has the ROOK blip without the extra-extra-blips. I've heard pridmore's kid pound the trans. Didn't make him faster, meaning. He's got the Rook'blip and he is quick. The other thing he does is not back off much. That is smooth throttle apply. No up, no down, counter decisions. He has got it flying thru that left hand sweeper @2:18. You hear that rpm to tire ratio sing on the lean.
