Driving lights
07/30/17 10:28 AM

Hello - I really enjoy this forum, moreso now that I am getting the itch to get back into bikes again. I am very drawn to the ZX14/R after having a ride on a friend's several years ago - even though I adhered to break-in revs, the smooth power and way this bike rides is right up my alley. It also fits me well at 6ft 1in. I've never had such a powerful bike but have always had very torquey machines and love 'low down power' (two Triumph Sprint STs, KTM Adventure 990 and KTM SuperDuke 990).

Anyway, I have had driving lights on previous bikes (e.g., Motolights) that attach to the forks or front fender mounts and really value the extra visibility to other road users. Has anybody here installed something like the Clearwater Glenda LED light set (or similar)? If so, I'd really love to see pictures.

Thanks much - Wolfhound

Someone had fork mounted driving lights. It's been done.

Thanks very much, Rook - I appreciate the feedback. Yes - I think he has his mounted much higher. It's just fun to research all of the possibilities. Take care.
