3000 miles in 3 weeks

Yes I have monkey butt...I did find some "anti-monkey butt powder" at Ass hardware of all places and promptly applied to the appropriate region :). The route has been....SLC to Reno, Tahoe, Santa Clara....break for a day or so, then from Santa Clara in one shot to Tacoma and met up with some friends and went on a ride right after I pulled in....850 miles that day. On up to Anacortes and Whidbey island for some job bids (can you say tax write off?) and then over highway 20 to Okanagon Wa and over to Northport Wa (north of spokane)....great ride! Then from there to Missoula Montana and on to Salt Lake for a break. Bike is running great....except it burned 1 quart of oil. Not sure if that is bad or not, but I'm riding it hard and fast so I guess she is thirsty. Awesome machine and it is beyond all my expectations in power and handling!

Heated grips and Two Brothers Black slip on's.
Old ride: 2008 zx-14 (sold)
Current ride: 2013 zx-14r abs/traction control
Current ride: zrx1200r Eddie Lawson edition

That is just vapor burning. Some burn off the cylinder wall. Add thousands of rpm's, you are bound to lose some oil.

I don't want to start another oil war here but did you switch to synthetic?
Just curious.

Sounds like you had a great time and enjoying your new ride.
