Side panel fitment

If you 14R owners want to make removing your side panels MUCH easier...you install two small thin washers under the two lower screws that hold the 'side cover tips"'pouch' into the assembled bodywork(two on each screw). That 'panel'(pouch)(the grey one)inside the midfairing.Washers under that, between the plastic and screw tower. This will slightly open the space in there...and will allow you to actually slide those covers out(and in) a helluva lot easier and with much less force.A real 'stop holding yer breath' mod that is simple and works very well. They can be so darn tight in there that you have to wrestle that plastic...I broke a tine at the tip doing that....not good.

Now they slide really nicely forward and backward. No more 'rocking the cover' around trying to pull em free in there. And yes...I bought a new side cover:(

You will need to remove the midfairing to get to em...but it's worth it.Good Luck!
