I think....IF....I had begun riding sportbikes and started with a Busa-I'd probably feel a lot different.I started with a zzr1200.Then a zx12.Now my 14.My ORIGINAL plan was to buy a Busa as my first sportbike.I had talked myself into really liking it and wanting it.Somehow I got sidetracked at a Kawi dealer and saw the zzr.One thing-it was SILVER.Stupid,I know-but it just attracted me sitting there.Looked completely different than any of the "big bikes" I had looked at.The lines were very original-and she was a badazz bike.1159cc's-that's what I wanted,big CC's.The price was right and I felt the ergos of the Busa at that time were just a bit too extreme for me.The rest is history.Kawis have been good to me-all three-never had any problems with em.But the Busa is a sweet bike-I could probably own one and feel okay with it.But I LOVE my bluebird-yep.Just fits me right.(and it does run smooth like I like-no vibes at all).

I, for one, am VERY glad you didn't go with the Busa. You have been a GREAT contributor to this forum.

Thanks BG-I'm praying you have an awesome ChristmasTime as well-as I pray for all you guys(and gals)here on the forum.Be safe there in Colorado BG-I seriously considered going out today for a ride.It's 20 degrees-but the roads are dry.It's 3 o'clock now-guess too late after all.My main concern would be Black Ice.I did some research on it-it's formation and how it "gets" there in the first place is a bit too risky for me.I had no idea that auto exhaust hitting the pavement and freezing(which it could easily do here now)could actually create a black ice situation.Nah-I'd love to ride-but I don't want to crash my baby.I know my Pirelli Angels are good-but........................Take care BG-Love ya man-stay safe!
