Is it 41T or 42T? SWB quarter mile question.

2012 14r and newer. Are the 41T rear sprocket stock or 42T? I could go out and count but someone can probably confirm. Can I go down 1 or 2t and still keep stock chain length? Anybody tried 2 teeth down without taking a link out? And while I am asking questions what gearing are you guys running SWB for the quarter mile???

42 is stock on the 2012+. I had a 40 on the rear on mine and I didn't have to take any links out.

I would say it's a good bet you could go down to 2 or three teeth with the stock length chain. If you are at about the third mark from the front now, there's pretty much room in the axle slots to pull the wheel back.

I went to a 45T from 41 on my Gen1 and I put on a new chain with one extra link just in case. Turned out, I couda stuck with the stock # links. It woulda pulled my wheel a couple marks closer to the front but it woulda fit, even with a brand new chain with 0 chain stretch.
