Beautiful 14R BTW....Trust me...when you NEED that extra stopping power...they come through wonderfully! And NO frontend wiggles;)Believe me...at speed...and an emergency stop approaching, slabbing the brakes WILL save you in so many situations...You'll be VERY thankful you can slam her all the way and give yourself time to react much better.Skids in emergencies REALLY suck.I 'tied' to lock mine in wet roads several times at speed....no lock...just a very controllable stop...nothing like having a rear or front lock and slide.....warning...that'll get ya killed QUICK!

Hey bud! Your bike looks freakin nice. I thought I should point out, have you looked at how your rear brake line is kinda getting pinched by the heel plate and the other line on that side? If you loosen off that banjo bolt, you can re-position those lines so that it isn't being pinched. Just noticed it and thought I would point it out. That brake line shouldn't be pinched at all just from a function standpoint. I ran into the same thing but was able to find a happy place for it. Cheers man!

Note, the larger of those two brake lines (the one to the reservoir) can be rotated slightly and it stays sealed, its a clip ring insert fitting. And when ya loosen that banjo bolt it might leak a little fluid, just use a rag there so as not to leak it in your componentry. May have to top up the reservoir when done but you shouldn't lose much at all if ya keep the cap on the reservoir while that banjo is loose.

Bit heavier than Gen II, but love em!

First thing that I thought before I even looked at the pic. Looks nice and I know the bike has pleanty of power to spin a Gen1 wheel but I'd go with a green vinyl stick on and stick with the light wheels. Does look mighty sharp though especially with the Brocks emblem.

pis of squashed downspout, step 15

A slight pinchin that downspout shouldn't hurt performance but it's nice to have it unsquashed. Cblast's idea is a more tidy solution here's what i did.

My OEM brake line was routed behind behind the downspout at the factory (don't know if they continued this with the GEN2 but thew Gen2 looks like the same brake line and MC as the gen1). I turned the brake line so the there was more space between the downspout and the brake line. The nub on the OEM brake line is there there for positioning but it the brake still works if the nub is not between the nubs on the master cylinder. If you go to after market lines, those don't even have a nub.
