Not around anymore but they were great cats.
Cried like a baby when Josie and Jasmine's time came...

ShEEZE---the ex has a cat she adopted when I met her 22 years ago. That cat hasn't seen me much in the last 10 years but I can tell she still remembers me. That's the one that always liked me. She's looking a little skinny and raggedy these days but the ex will take good care of her up to the end.

It's where the big cats are hibernating for winter and the little cats take up the down time. Got a question... Am I the only one with this problem? In the morning, I get up, catch a few pages sitting on the pot, if not, guess who walks in looking to get some 'rubs' call it. That much is common I've read. I get up, she's walking down the hall, stops, looks back to see if I'm heading her way to feed her. And then it starts in. She starts yapping away and of course I'm trying to match her nagging pitches of hurry up and feed me cries. So I stall as I multitask, prep two coffees, a kitty dish, water in the kettle, pop a can, grab a spoon and have my morning conversation with the cat as all of this is our daily routine in the morning. I can just imagine what she's saying... 'No, no, no, don't go to the sink and fill the kettle... no000, not the sugar scoops, get to the trout in its own gravy, yeah that one, nooooo not chicken! I hate chicken!!!' I put the dish down.... she sniffs... turns and walks to the sliding back door, sits and looks out into the backyard.
If she's inside, she knows I'm getting something ready to go outside to the grill. Slide the door, out she goes and it begins. No raw chicken of course, but she is demanding I feed her whatever is going to be bbq'd. As if the neighbors are going to call the ASPCA on me she's 'me-me-me-yow' it's all about her. Yeah, I know, shut up and here, a pinch of raw hamburger meat... hush!
Sits near me waiting for a handout at the dinner table and you know she bats those eyes closed... lovingly. Her favorite dry food is all over so she's not starving if she wants to snack all day. She's not overweight; just had blood work and no sugar imbalance where she needs insulin shots like I had to do with my dog.
I'll assume no problem found is the same as the bathroom walk-in. Any other yappers come meal time?

I have the same problem Hub.
Morning, sitting on the pot. Both cats come in and insist on being petted, while they start purring like tractors.
Sometimes they start Paw Wars under the door. Then "John Travolta" attacks my shoelaces while I'm trying to tie them. When I get up and leave the bedroom, the real noise begins. "Travolta" sound like a squeaky toy, while Domino sounds like a Bull Moose in rut. Incredibly loud. I feed them and they're quiet for about 10 minutes, unless they don't like the food I gave them. Then the barrage starts again. The worst part is I get up for work at 4:30 am...
guess what happens on the weekend???

Your kitties love ya!Mine like to stop right on the next step down on the stairs. And look up at me like 'uhm, this is where you pet me cause I'm the boss'.Then a bolt to the kitchen countertop and mewling to get me to head bump. After jumping on the bed and face planting my face to see if I'm alive. The grey babesy does this mostly. But BeBe has semi learned the same stuff.Theyll stop in the living room right in front of me and that's where they get picked up for hugs.Amazing how they've changed since I first got em.

I think my brown kitty BeBe must be a maine coon at some amount. She looks almost the same as yours. With a bit shorter hair and pointed tail instead of that bushy one.The patterns look very similar. And the head also.On second thought, maybe not lol.
