Hello to everyone from Cebu, Philippines.

I'm new to the ZX-14R, just got myself a 2013 ZX-14R Metallic Midnight Sapphire Blue.

Been riding since I was 18, I'm 40 now... but this is my first time on a Kawasaki and first time on a bike this powerful.

Looking to find good tips about my new bike on the forum.

Welcome to the forum! You got a nice bike there. How are the roads in the Philippines? You could probably hit every road within a couple of hours on your new beast.

On my island (Cebu), yes I could probably go around the whole island in maybe half a day. Roads are pretty good here for sport bikes, there is a highway that goes from one side of Cebu island to the other, up through the mountains. Lots of twisties and uphill/downhill sections. Hard to keep up with my friends on that road though, since they ride 600s. In other provinces there are four and six lane highways with little traffic, that's where I want to ride this bike.

Kawasaki Philippines calls this bike a "2013 Kawasaki ZX-14R Metallic Midnight Sapphire Blue" but there isn't any technical difference from the 2012s aside from the new color (2012 color available here was black only).
