Ok thinking of putting NOS on the 14 could use some install tips from the experts, to see if its feasible.Only going to do a 40 shot , so my question is what if anything needs to be beefed up? and where is best place to install the 2 nozzles? And for just a 40 shot can i get the extra fuel thru pc3 alone?

don't NEED anything beefed up.

high performance valve springs are recommended but not necessary.

I personally like my MPS spyder spray bar. it uses 4 jets, injects the nitrous straight into the throttle bodies so you get a true 40 hp from it.

You have an 08, meaning you have the larger injectors. You'll be fine using the power commander for the fuel. IF you're crafty with wiring you can hook your map switch up to the nitrous switch (activates the nitrous and switches maps at the same time.. this is how i have mine set up).

i use the horn button for mine, since my horn is no longer on the bike.

I've seen it around and i'll look for it. I didn't use one when i did mine, it really is simple if you take the time to think about it. I've got two relays in my system, the horn button activates both of them. One is for the nitrous (just cause i like relays, i think its safer) and the other is for the map switch. If you cut the map switch wire, you'll see that there are actually only two wires going to it. meaning NO = one position and NC = the other. (i dont have my bike here or else i would be more specific). Wire the relay up in place of the switch and your map will switch when you push the horn button.

I can draw up a diagram tommorow if it'll help.. too tired tonight its past my bed time LOL
