Anyone have any comparisons between the two?
I know blu recently got the Vemar and gives it high marks - was wondering if anyone has the x-12 and what they thought of it.

Hey Crix...They no longer make the VSRC-but the eclipse-ya-that's the "other" carbon fiber from Vemar.Same price(though mine listed at $1000.00)(got it for $499.00).Top riders wear the Vemar Eclipse-course,you know-that doesn't mean a whole lot when it comes to sponsoring and money.They wear the other brands as well.I don't think you could go wrong however with the Eclipse.If it's anything like the VSRC(which it most likely is),it's an excellent helmet and well worth the cash.Mine is seriously better than any of the Arai's I've had.And they've been pretty darn good.You can go to webbikeworld.com and read some reviews about the Vemars-lots of good helmets and input over there.

Thanks Blue07 - I spent alot of time reading their reviews and finding a decent lightweight helmet.

Think I may go with the HJC FS-15 Carbon Helmet - the reviews were great and right now I can get it for $233 down from $440 or so. That and it comes in a copper color that i think may go well with the black and burnt orange of the bike - Hopefully my local bike shop has some to try on for fit.

HJC's a good helmet-I was gonna get their Blue Carbon Fiber-good lookin helmets for sure.

If anyone wants a Vemar VSRC full carbon fiber helmet, I have one that I wore once and it didn't fit my head right. I have been hanging on to it simply as a collector item. I found that my Shoei fits me better. I am willing to part with the Vemar for the right price.

What size?

Its a large! I decided to put it up on eBay last night. I looked around on the web and could not find this helmet less than $600. That's why I decided to list it on eBay. I apologize for any hard feelings for doing this.
