I have 42 tooth vortec sprocket from zrx wheel will going up one tooth mess with any thing other than Speedo?Who's running a 42I ordered the 42 for the ZRX I believe stock was 41 so I must have gear. Bike up by one don't quote me on that though but the hub swaps right over from the ZRX to the ZX sprocket it only has two thousand miles on also mileage on Zx.or is steel better then just the silver sprocket nothing hard anodized for this particular monster ZX

Yes, the stock sprocket on the Gen 1 is 41T. 42T should not affect anything but a slight decrease in speedo. If you run a stock sized tire, the speedo might be just about right on now. You will experience some accelerated wear on the chain and both sprockets until the 42T wears in with them. Aluminum is not so bad. Steel wears better of course. I think I got over 20,000 miles on my Vortex sprocket and wear was evident but it was not in horrible condition.
