Will a 200/55 tire effect the two things?

TC effected = no, because it reads the difference in the tone rings and they remain the same rotationally to each other.
Speedo, YES because of the same reason as above. Tire is taller, bike thinks the wheel is going the same speed as it ever did based on the number of revolutions per mile.
Now, ask me if an abs bike will be effected with a tire height change? On ours, I doubt it will because its a basic setup; but what about the newest bikes with 5 axis slip control and all that junk? dunno. I think I read that the race settings on the newest bikes allow you to preselect a few different size tires based on common track sizes.

According to the math I have run a 200/55 tire will be roughly 5% lower rpm than a 190/50 for a set speed. How much is the speedometer off from the factory?

A little caution, I went to a 190-55 last year and a new full exhaust at the same time. Have been fighting low speed performance since thinking it was of course the exhaust. disconnected the rear speed sensor yesterday and the low speed performance came back, so just ordered the stock tire size.

zx14rider, I'm sure this is what you meant....
Its correct that changing the tire wont effect the speedo "reading", BUT with a taller tire you will be going faster for the same speed "indicated" as before. and with a shorter than stock tire would be going slower.
NOW, all that being said; the taller tire may actually make your speeds read correct compared to how it was from the factory. OR it may be off even more. To answer the question about how much the 14r's are off from the factory, I remember one of the magazines that tested them in 2012 said theirs was off about 2-3 mph up to about 80. Double that speed should also double the error.

I did speedometer testing and found at typical road and interstate speeds + 3mph. I think I even did the math and generally if that's the case a 55 puts me about dead on as far as speedometer reading. 55 over a 50 is probably about like going down one sprocket tooth.

There is a digital speed check permanently setup on my home street. Bikes don't weigh enough to activate it normally but today I was able to follow a truck and speed match it. The sign showed 28 for the truck and my speedometer was claiming 32~. This is with the newly installed 200/55

This is the case with the gen1. At least at highway speed

I've read there's about a 7% (optimistic) speedo error on a Gen 1. I set the Speedo Healer to -8% and I run a /55 rear tire. Staionary radar checks show the gauge to be within 1 or 2 mph at 30. Haven't had occasion to check it with a faster reading.

IDK if this is like the streetside radar signs the cops set up to deter speeding but I don't think those things are accurate. I've observed some variation between those things. Also, I believe 28~30 mph is too slow to show any error in the speedo. 7~8% is 2 mph when you're going that speed and that's a little hard to check on an analogue speedo. Run the bike on the highway and check your speedo against the cars. Better yet, get a partner to run his car on the highway at 60 mph and pace him or use the ol GPS. Never went that far myself but I've paced cars on the expressway and mine seemed accurate assuming the cars were doing 60 mph. Prior to the 55 rear tire, I would be going slower than cars if I was indicating 60 mph on the expressway.

Yea but the sensor for the speedometer is read from the front wheel sensor. Rear tire size should not affect speedo reading since front tire size does not change. Rear sensor for TC as far as i knew. At least on a 2012 i think.

I assumed it was the rear. for no other reason that it seemed like the logical one. lol.
EDIT - I thought I remembered it was the rear for speedo.
see this post from Romans. http://zx1441r.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3179&sid=898ed21005472ad3f8a3f0f8756feaf7
Pulled rear wheel sensor. Results, Speedo Gone out, ABS light on, KRTC Light came on during test ride, Check Engine Light soon came on,,, Dash Flashing. But,,,,,
THE Stutter 100 % Gone. Party Time.

"Speedo driven off rear tire. I confirmed when I changed gears and started my burnout at too low rpms. The clutched slipped , tach climbed but speedo did not move."
@chrly
Wouldn't this be evidence that the speedo is not driven off the rear wheel? Is it possible that both rear and front sensors are involved? (I don't know, just asking)
