The only suggestion I have is that you let me ride with you part of the way. Look at Rt.30 instead of I88, Rt30 is a beautiful ride. There's some great routes off from rt30 that take you to Vt., maybe stay in NY a little further north and cut into Vt. by (or across) lake Champlain. I will gladly map out some roads for you if your interested in staying off the interstate.

I would love company , I will know as early as this weekend the exact day that I'll be coming through . Get me a campground or inexpensive motel close to your house and we can ride a day . I'll take back roads over the interstate any day. You on Facebook ?

Ox Yoke Inn in Galeton, PA. Right on Hwy 6 and 10 minutes from the PA Grand Canyon. Rooms are dated but very reasonably priced. They have a restaurant on site that makes a tasty Philly Cheese Steak!

Westgate Inn, In Coudersport, PA. Very clean! Reasonably priced, Covered parking for bikes.

While you're there, take a day and be sure to hit hwy 44/144 right down to Renovo. Very nice roads. You'll be glad you did.

I stayed in Coudersport two years ago , I was on my way up to do the Hudson river Valley !! I stayed at Lindys and ate dinner at Mosch's . Just west of town I came upon what I thought was a loose black lab . Got 50 yards from it , I see its a black bear cub . I get stopped and walked back and its gone!! I will remember you and let you know what day exactly . Will be somewhere around the 11 th or 12th of Aug. Thanks for the info
