Time to plan what track bike you're going to get.

Congrats - you have quickly reached the limits of the bike. Just cant get around it easily. You have found why many also have a ZX10RR or a more track friendly narrow waisted bitch. There is an H2 for sale in Redondo Beach with only ~2500 miles for $16K - that would be a fun track weapon.

Yessir, the litre bike search has begun. Have had a couple discussions with the Core Moto folk about the Carro’s ability to be used on diff bikes; an 11-15 ZX10 would be the cheapest to adapt ($86). 16+ is $228 still not bad.
R1 and BMW S1000rr and a GSXR 1000 all could be adapted as well. So that is GREAT news and clearly a major benefit of buying the newer Carros made by Core Moto. You nailed it on the comedy of stickers to cover scatches being scratched off... the Two Brothers sticker is the one that did not belong anyway as the Brock’s replaced the 2 Bros.
I am not in a hurry to leave this 200hp and very big torque behind. I LOVE the big pig’s power!

I'd love to own an H2 but if I were looking for a track bike, I'd go as road race specific as possible. It looks like you can take full advantage of the track environment so there's no need to try to cover a lot of bases with a bike. Go fast as hell and never slow down! I'd be looking for a 600 for BHF.

ROOKORINO!!!!!
Seems clear that a 1299 Panigale v4S covers those bases best with 215 HP!! And all the top shelf suspension and braking tech...WOW. But seriously, I am anti Ducati for now and need to keep the initial investment reasonable so I can spend $ on real go fast and consumable supplies to support this ever intensifying track habit! I LOVE the sound of a screaming inline japanese 4. The 600 I fear would feel too anemic after this kind of power drunk, so I will wean myself off with a litre bike for now.

and since there's no insurance that covers track days,
any crash could total the bike.

So for me I try to keep in line with what I wouldn't feel
bad with a total loss.

I do like liter bikes and Kawasaki, so ZX10 is my vote.

My track whip......

BMW is expected to update the S1000rr next year. ...but it isn;t going to be cheaper than a Ducati, I'm sure.

Buy something you don't mind crashing.

PIKEN!!!
Kickass track weapon man. I am full on dialed in on an 11-15 ZX10 so the Carros can go on it. Kickass racer/ tuner guy that is the suspension provider at this track (Jason Ferrill) not only holds the track record on a Ferrill built Zx10 but seems to have them laying around. Promising.

ROOKAGE!!!!
Funny you’d make the Duc BMW comparo— one of the control riders there the other day told me the Motovid owner; a Penigale guy of course found out custom exhaust for his machine is gonna run 8k and has to be installed at a factory garage. WOW
The Barry Fript classmate Friday was the Red on Blk Dainese guy on a S1000R...sick bike!

I know we're all Manly Men here but many of you would be surprised what an absolute blast you
can have on a SV650 or Ninja 400 on the track. Big horsepower allows you to overlook mistakes you are
making on the track. Take that away and you can focus on good riding technique. I raced a TZR250 for several years. Never wanted anything more.
Just food for thought.

What stops me in my tracks is the cost of doing frequent track days. The bike is just the tip of the iceberg.
