we got riders from 4 to 83 years old!
its quiet alien at first, and riding street/rtrack actually leave you at a bit of a disadvantage at first,
ok you got hand controls sorted, but trusting the front to hit steps/rocks take a lot of getting used to, so does leaning the bike away from you in the tight stuff!!! its a big learning curve

The kids don't know anything beyond riding a bicycle so any style of riding is more or less he same to them. I wish I had a few extra bucks. Maybe a couple of old crusty off road bikes would fit the bill.

I pop in from time to time, but this thing has been so trouble-free, fast and reliable, it leaves little to chew about. Now that Botophucket is in the rearview mirror and I have a new hosting service, I may post up more ride pics etc. in the future.

Hey Rook. Good to see you're still holding down the fort on mods and maintenance tips.

My last ride of the '17 season was the 'Causeway Tour' 1500 miles round trip from Daytona to New Orleans and back along the Gulf Coast. My three Florida buddies were shivering in the 50-degree morning weather. Seemed like fall ridin weather to me.

BW II has now topped 75,000 miles and is due for some TLC come Spring. Another fork oil change, valve check and new steering head bearings. Looking for a heated gear trip to finish off the current tires.

It is amazing how adaptable we as humans are. Ever see a deer out in the cold at night and marvel how they survive? These situations show us how close to animals we really are. A little getting used to goes a long way.

After I lived down there for 3 years, it took a couple of winters to be able to take the cold weather I was raised in. I guess your blood gets thin in the heat.

I've been walking in the subzero weather and after a couple weeks, it isn't too bad. 30 degrees now feels warm.

i guess thats one of the limitations of a model specific forum, checking in for the mech/tech stuff becomes irrelevant when you change bikes so you only come in occasionally to check in on the members you have become friends with....you know....for a hug!!
