The book calls for NGK CR9EIA-9 and the only tool to use to remove them is the stock spark plug socket. Use a gear wrench to turn it. 14 mm gear wrench I was told.

I've only had the one on the right out because the others are unbelievably hard to get at. You'll need the tools mentioned here.

Hm- I wonder if it was an oversight. I would pull a plug and look at the part #.

People do use different plugs than OEM but I've heard there is nothing special about plugs, just go with stock plugs.

Never changed plugs myself but that's a common enough procedure that we would have prolly heard if the spec OEM plug did not work.

???? I'd pull a plug and look at the part # but I'm sure there are many possible plugs other than OEM that could work.

You know who would know this 4shore??

have to get a socket, cause I bought the bike used and it didn't have a tool kit in the tail.

Thanks again DogoZX! They were ALOT easier than expecting! Only took about 30 minutes, cause I already had the plastics off. Mine were in bad shape. Much more snappy now, can't get on it hard yet cause the roads are still cold and salt covered.
