Finally the day arrived where all the universe told me it's time to make the move! She's my second ZX-14...first was an '06. I had a 2005 Harley Road King Custom which I liked....but wasn't in LOVE with. One day I walked past motorcyclist magazine in a 7-eleven and saw what reminded me of my old '92 ZX-11 on the front cover. WOW I was instantly infatuated! I sold the Harley but before that I found the best deal on a new 14 in Santa Ana and the obsession began. So it was 8 years and I sold her with 50K on the clock, she was still in great shape but for some reason was feeling superstitious because my pops lost his left leg on his Fatboy when he was 42 and now I was turning 42. lol. Crazy I know....so I sold her, I told myself I was too busy with work to ride also.
Here I am with a brand new '18 sitting in my garage and the love affair has begun again! hahaha.
If only the rain would stop so I can put some miles on!

I hope to meet a few fellow riders sometime in the Sacramento/Bay Area who can show me the nooks and crannys of Northern Cali since I'm a San Diego transplant ;)

If the hills dry out, we have some decent roads about 90 minutes North of Sac. Kinda curious to take a peek at one of teh newer 14s.

My kids live in Dixon , Grandkids live in Folsom , so I am down that way frequently .
