Hi Everyone,

I’m looking for engine upgrades for my ZX14R Lotus 7 build/project.

Adams 1.5” oil pan
Mechanical chain tensioner
High volume oil pump gear
Upgrade Billet oil pump cover plate
High pressure oil pressure control valve
Adjustable cam gears/sprockets

I understand that these parts aren’t your typical used parts for sale but hey lemme try my luck.

I'd probably only do the oil pump gear if you really are sure you need it. It will eat some hp and put an extra load on your oil pump at all speeds. Romans ran his turbo 14s with the stock gear. The cover is good, might as well. The relief valve, you can shim your stock one and it will be the same thing but you can buy a new high pressure one for about $16 I think.

I have the cover on my bike. A guy told me the stock one does definitely squirt oil when he primed his engine via the water pump. He could see thhe oil squirting out of the stock cover. Apparently it works but a billet one could only help and no downside to using except it weighs an ounce or so more than stock.
