What a day!
11/29/14 1:31 PM

What a day today! I put 72 miles on, was so awesome to get her out with my new exhaust for the first time. Sound was just what I was looking for, not insane loud but damn she sounds sweet around 8k and under over passes. Ran great, no remapping or anything at this point that's in the works though.

46-48F degrees, I rode about 30 miles highway the rest around town over bout 2.5 hours. Was really good then it got cloudy by the end I was pretty cold. Keep in mind all I have is my mesh stuff, although I wore a leather jacket underneath my mesh jacket. My legs and hands were pretty cold, but it was so worth it. Hoping it'll stay dry a bit tomorrow enough to get another good 70-100 in, it's supposed to be warmer.

One other thing to note for the first 1.5 hours didn't see any bikes. Ended up saw two others on bikes. One crazy mof didn't even have a helmet on!

IN the 40s here today, too. I ran the engine but still don't have all the pieces together. Still have throttle cables and clutch fluid to do. I'm sure I will need to make suspension adjustments for the new Ohlins. Looks like I may need to adjust the chain for the new shock. I'm hoping for another warming trend in a couple weeks so I can take a ride.

LOL a few years back I was riding in 28° weather. I've ridden in the teens. Not more than 30 minutes at a time though. I find it a little cold on the knees and the pinky fingers. The rest is ok for a 30 minute ride if I tuck down behind the windscreen. .

Days like today here are abnormal, high's been in the 30s for the most part the last few weeks. Avg high for right now is low 40s. Last weekend was unusually warm (low-mid 50s) Sat and Sun, but it rained both days all day long.

Tomorrow supposed to be in the mid-upper 50s, but showing rain all day. After that going back into mid 30s all week. I haven't rode in a few weeks now the last time there was 3 days of 50s I got in 400 miles total. This was just warm enough to be tolerable especially with the gear I have.

Any time I have the opportunity to get her out I'm going to, but this weekend could truly be it for 3-4 months. I'll keep my fingers Xed though!

The absolute coldest I rode my old bike one year on New Years Day, It ws probably in the 20s. I rode a couple times this year in the mid-high 30s. I have a pic at work with the bike's temp says 39 I think (it was really 37).

I'm working on some gear upgrades (for better protection) for next season, but my focus is still going to be warm weather riding. After that I'll try to expand to get some cooler weather stuff.

I rode my Connie to work today. It was awesome. Love that giant windscreen with heated grips, seat, jacket and pant liners.
It was so nice, I didn't even turn on the heated liners. But I had them just in case.

It was a bit nippy for the big bad Ninja ZX14R. At least when you have the Conster sitting there begging for a ride.

Poor thing, I threw it a bone today.

Rode mine today, not to many 46 degree November days in Toledo. Was great till 4 stinking deer ran out in front of me, all ended well.

Here is Nor CAL, temperature is 52 today but we are having heavy rain. It looks like rain will continue for few days. My ZX will remain in garage as I don't ride in rain anymore. Auto drivers around here are crazy and hazardous to motorcycle riders. They don't care, don't see and don't slow down in rain.

Here in So Cal it was about 60 F. I got out late (8:30 a.m.), after packing my daughter off back to college, for about 75 miles to Lake Elsinore for breakfast and got home just as it began to rain. Been so long since it rained here I had to get a second opinion about what was falling out of the sky.
