Dog you got he bearings yes ?
Not ceramics. My wheels are Carrozzeria's. They came with bearings. Not quite as nice as your March's, but will be a huge improvement over stockers just the same.
Those wheels are bitchen! PS- You are gonna love your Ohlins.
Thanks. I'm sure I'll love the Ohlins... Owned streetbikes for 16-17 years, first bike I've sprung the $$$ on.
I got a new car but had to but it my self.
Cool... whatcha get? Oh and I bought for myself... so you can imagine the shit I'm shoveling to get things even.
Naaa we couldn't ,,,,, Or could we, hmmm.
Nah... you couldn't.
Maybe I should take my pics down so that Rook can have his thread back???

Adjustable?
Yep. The preload adjustment is remote. That's a big factor in what got me to spring the $$$ for it. Easy to adjust for 2up.

I added earlier in one of Rooks many (lol) gearing posts that with enough stretch, back to about the 3rd bar on the swingarm if I remembered right, you could fit a 43 on the rear with the stock set-up. In fact I purchased a brand new 43 rear which I still have in the garage, waiting for enough stretch Unfortunately now with the turbo I HIGHLY doubt I'll ever be using it If I remember right tho Roman, I do think it was you who told us about the 3 bars back before the 43 would go on on the old forum. Thanks again for the info I almost got to use lol. These forums can be invaluable sources of info
Now where's the naked chicks?

So here we are 10 years and two sprocket changes later. A 45T aluminum is just fine for my Gen1. I've used Vortex and AFAM. Vortex is lighter.
Any opinions on PBI sprockets? The ad says "Most rears provided with lightening holes." Anyone think this one pictured might be a smaller pitch for a less powerful bike? The lightening holes are what captured my interest but this is a generic picture for all pitches. IDK if the 530 pitch will have the same lightening holes.

I saw a pic of a busa PBI rear and it had some nice holes but probably more solid that the one shown above. From what I can tell the 14 PBI is similar to the stock sprocket's appearance but has a little bigger holes.
I might go with Renthal this time.
If anyone knows of anything lighter than Vortex, I'd sure like to know.

Thanks Cool. Renthal was my second choice only because IMO, the metallic gold pigment they use to anodize is much less appealing than a nice transparent gold on bright aluminum. I went with a Driven. It was lighter than the AFAM I had previously. I will post pics soon.
The Vortex I have is for the 5 bolt stock wheel. It is the lightest of the three I've weighed. I suspect a Vortex for a 6 bolt Carrazzeria pattern would be heavier than the 5 bolt pattern.
I will probably get Renthal for the busa.
The Vortex 17t I got is lighter than the 17t Supersprox I had previously.
