Everyone knows, don't overtighten the bolts into wellnuts. Just finger tight and then one full turn with a T-handle.
Each time you tighten, it squishes a little more, unless you have a machinist's fingers and touch.
In any case, unless you squish the wellnut all the way, or break it by putting the bolt in at an angle and forcing it to thread, those bolts will NEVER come out.
After I put the carbon fiber cowling (total, 100%, long time members remember, pictures still here somewhere) on, I didn't touch the fairing bolts that go into wellnuts once in 3 years. When I traded it in, I checked them, they were all still snug.
Now, if its a bolt into a threaded hole in the fairing stay or something, those need blue locktite. And then THEY won't ever come out.
