Just above the write box or window you type in, look up from there. Where it says BODY:, those are called opening and closing brackets. It's how you write code. Look at the two keys to the right of the P key:
Note the ... dots representing a sentence you want to quote, a website, a bold letter, word or sentence, etc.
Note how the brackets do not have a space between the dots.
When using the brackets, butt up against the first letter for the opening bracket, and do the same for the last letter for the closing bracket. That's the dot representation for the whole www address, the word, sentence, photo.
Where the question mark key is? Here is where you find the 'forward slash' (/) key used in the closing bracket.
Note for code writing... the forward slash always needs to be in the closing bracket and to the left of the formatted choice, i.e., you want it in bold, underlined, etc.
The forward slash makes the line hot to the mouse's courser like a website. Where other written code calls the action to the letter, word, sentence, photo, website, etc. Therefore, I'm going to write this simple code two ways. For these examples I am going to eliminate the forward slash so the action does not occur. This is so you can see how the code was written, the format letters used for the action, meaning, a photo, quote, or web page.

This is the trick I use for the brackets to popup instead of typing them out long hand. I hold down the ctrl key and hit the i key for underline. I then type in mg at both brackets to finish the code. I then return the courser to the center of the brackets, hold ctrl down, tap V for the photo grab.
Say I see a photo somewhere on the net. I right click over the photo and a window pops up. You probably know this, but anyway you choose to open the photo in a new browser somewhere or something close that says it will expos the jpg address. The new browser opens, you see the address line at the top of the browser.
This is the next trick where I can either mouse click the address bar so it turns blue, then hold the ctrl key down, tap C for copy. I then come back to the box here and hit ctrl+V. That, or drag the courser to the right with the left mouse click held down and run the blue over the whole address, let go of the left mouse click so the blue remains that copy color.
This is bracketless:

This is hot for action minus the forward slash (/) in the closing bracket:

Note the last 3 letters next to the closing bracket. JPG is said J-Peg and there you know those letters are for photos. If you slowly read the whole line you can read parts of it and where it came from.
This is where Q means quote and all you need is to type q in this window, where writing out the word in the bracket is another way of writing the same code. So the the action could be expressed either way for it to work.
