Ive been using my rear brakes a LOT more. Making a mental note to use them EVERY time I stop, even if just a little bit. Feel and stopping power have improved a TON. I guess the pads need quite a bit of time to bed in. Use em more and see how they feel. Mine are OK, now. Like I think they SHOULD be.

I've been trying to get in the habit of using my rear brake more often.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat...need to start using back brake more, mine has almost no stopping power now and I just put on a SS brake line, only 750 miles on bike though.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one with what I thought was an abnormal rear brake. It was weak at best. It's taken a few thousand miles to break-in, but it feels ok now. A few thousand seems like a lot but I've gotten so used to using only the front brakes that I felt the rear wasn't needed. I locked it up the other day after watching an instructional video on braking techniques. Worked like a charm. Now I am practicing using it to keep upright at intersections, but my dirt bike mentality is fighting me.

Glad I'm not the only one that felt that way. I use mostly fronts but am learning to use both. supposed to help keep me upright at stopping they say. Am trying out this technique. Any way they feel fine now, but I too thought that they needed an adjustment.
