So Im on my way to work today and there's a slight overcast. Not a big deal to me, I've rode in the rain before and wasn't to worried about it. So about half way to work I run through a little rain, enough to make the roads slick as they could be. Then the rain slacks off.
I'm Rollin at about 65 in a 55 when I approach a stop light. About 30 yards from when I get there it turns yellow. At the same time a jack arse runs the light and makes a left on red. Quick thinking I had 2 choices. A: try to stop at the light and possibly lock the breaks up and lay it down or B run through the yellow and have more time to slow. I went with B.
I started to gradually use both breaks to slow but the slippery roads got the best of me. Ii started fishtailing. I finally regained control about a cars lenth before the douche that ran the light. I pull on side of him on the shoulder, honked the horn and shot him the bird.
In hindsight I should have hit the shoulder from the get-go. But I am glad this happened for learning purposes. No harm, no foul.
