I have a set of delkevic tri-ovals on my '14 ZX14r and they are pretty mellow (quiet) even with the end cap baffles removed.
has anyone removed the glass packing from them? Is it just drill the rivets, slide out the baffle. Remove the packing. Replace and re rivet? How about sound? I want LOUD but not like a 200 hp dump truck. I want nice sound.

Contact the manufacturer before you drill out the rivets.... It "should" be a simple drill out rivet, remove packing, re-rivet.... BUT how many times has something so simple turned into a nightmare? Maybe they sell a kit like I got from Brock's when I sent my CT out for ceramic coating.
On a side note, almost every aftermarket bike exhaust I have ever used seemed to get louder over time when the packing burns away. Looks like a nice exhaust, I checked their site. Good Luck

Isn't it easier to get used exhaust like Muzzy? I once installed Muzzy slip-on and it was very loud. While the sound was music to motorcyclists, it was simply loud noise for neighbors. I changed it to Delkevik and use the db killer to make sure I don't piss off neighbors.

I just checked their website out and I'm seriously impressed. The Tri-oval with the baffle in seems like just waht I'm looking for. Weight loss without the noise.

Zeropilot, with thos baffles in, how much louder than stock?

drill the rivets and carefully remove the ends. I took mine apart for powder coating. but you will need to buy a sealer for when you re install.

Curious, what length Delkevic's do you have?
