I've seen other add-on lights that were disappointing looking, but I like the small package it retracts to, battery life, and visibility. I don't know how legal it is though.

In IL., any extraneous lighting on the vehicle, will get you pulled over. Since this isn't on the vehicle.........I don't want to go to court to see which way it falls. The video looked pretty cool though.

Good safety item. Recently we had a rider go missing for a month. If wearing something like this maybe they would see him in the dark.
But probably illegal here in California.
