I'm in North Alabama and know there are a few others that live around here. Anyone interested in planning something around March/April time frame? Perhaps a motorcycle event will show itself in some place like Atlanta or something and we could plan around that.

The wife and I are planning to hit the Dragon but will be closer to mid-june, and also intend to visit my father in northern Alabama ( Muscle Shoals )......so doesn't look like I'll make a gathering in March/April:(

Muscle Shoals is in hour from here. Please let me know [as the time approaches] the dates and we'll be sure to meet up!

Hoping to ride with a few friends from Chattanooga to Barber in Birmingham this spring. Be my 4th time going. Its one of the best motorcycle museums in the country.

So, as March nears, let's get a poll started for where most folks would like to meet. Here are some suggestions just to get the ball rolling:

* Barber Motorsports Park & Museum
* Tail of the Dragon
* Upcoming bluegrass festival in Florence, AL
* Somewhere interesting in other major towns such as Atlanta, Nashville, B'ham, etc

I was thinking about Suches,Ga too. There are some really nice roads and not as "heavily inforced" as the tail. We stayed at the T.W.O campground. but it looks like its closing down.

What dates are we going to shoot for? Mid-late April?
