Never used one on any other bike before but after installing the PC5 in my 14, I would say it definitely is worth the money if you do any riding of the more extreme kind. Throttle control might not matter much for day to day commuting but it sure does laying into the corners at speed. Also, I had previously reported pulling flies is not a worthwhile venture on an 08-09 zx14. If you get the right map for flies out on a G2, it will be worth the effort to pull flies. Still not a night and day dif to pull flies like it was for the G1, but I can finally say it might as well be done if for no other reason than to rid the G2 of the annoying flies open power boost at 3.5K, another not so pleasant sensation in a tight corner. You go through the work of fly pulling, you need to richen up those bottom revs to accommodate the increased flow.
I will be interested to try some other maps but the one I have is from Fuelmoto USA where I ordered my PC5. I think you will feel it's money well spent if you need peak performance out of your exhaust. Might depend entirely on what map you run. I would think 2 Brothers can supply you with a good map to start. Another $230 and you can get Autotune and that should give you a perfect tune if your map isn't close enough. (you need to drill your header and weld the o2 bung to install Autotune)
I'm currently running the stock exhaust and i already like the improvement in performance. One drawback, the bike may be running a little warmer. 3 Bars on the highway tonight. Sounds normal operating temp but it seemed like it used to have to work more to get to 3 bars at highway speed. Also, I thought I felt more heat on my legs.

Simply depends on what you want. If you trying to get every last bit of performance out of your bike. Then yes it is. If you want it to run as smooth as possible. Again, yes it is. But if you are happy with it the way it is. Don't spend the money. You don't have to have one with slip on's. I have one on my 06. Would I buy it again? Yep.

Hey 76, I ran a pc with my scorpion slips/bmc race/tre/flies out/Ivans map and the overall package made my 06 14 feel like a whole new bike. It had tire smoking big-block low end power, and ran fast and hard all the way to the limiter The pc with a good map will def give you a nice sotp diff that should make it worth your while

2nd gear, 40 - 45 mph, I'd say I'm about in that range. Seems like a better rider than me could be taking the same corner at 5K.
..or am i missing something here?

An 06 with Yoshi slipons, pipercross filter and flies in and my 07 with PC, flies out , BMC street filter and full Arata system had a roll-on from 60mph in 6th on Saturday and the 06 stays next to me to about 80mph and then slowly pulls 3 or 4 bike lengths on me up to about 160mph. I can pass him after that. We swap bikes and my 07 runs away from the 06 immediately also at 60mph and I could do nothing but watch my bike disappear quickly. I am 15kg heavier than my mate, but I never thought that it would make such a difference. If we roll on in 4th gear I can pull away from him just before we change into 5th. His bike obviously has more low end power and mine more top end, but I was a bit disappointed with the results before we swapped bikes. The fuel consumtion on both bikes was 13.8 km/litre indicated on the dash readout. I think that if I never had the PC and flies out, he would have ridden away from me. The Red 06 models seem to be super strong. I had one before this 07 and it ran with the new Busa.
