well...you gotta love nyc, was coming home from work one night and caught the edge of a pothole in the highway as I was changing lanes and it bent my rim on one side, just the lip of it a bit...i didn't notice at first and then about a mile from home a turn on the highway felt a little too heavy for my taste...checked the tire pressure and it went down to 20psi...the rim holds air pretty well and i rode today about 50 miles and the pressure stayed the same for the most part maybe a little less and no vibrations...any ideas whether i should straighten the rim or just get a new one from ebay??

I would buy a rim...straights are one thing....curves...you never know.

yea i guess imma go with the new rim...brand new goes for like 660!?!?!?! on cheapcycleparts.com...saw a couple on stealbay for like 250, so i think thats my best bet

Cheep cycle parts is a joke. I think they make interest off your money until you get tired of waiting for the order to ship and cancel it!

That's why you don't wait till the LAST minute to order yer stuff! They're a tad slow....but good prices.I always get my stuff from them.UNLESS...I'm buyin a tire.Superstore for that...3 days tops.If the shipping seems wrong or too high,you can call the help desk(at cheapcycleparts)and get em to lower the rate as well.I've done that a couple of times.
