Arkapovic exhaust - opinions?

I like the look of the dual exhaust. Options are very limited - what experience do you have with Akrapovic syslems? I have never owned one and am curious.

Akra fit and finish are +1,but how does it compare to Brocks duals, cost and support ,I personally lean toward Hindle/Brock products

I had a ¾ Akra system on my R1 – extremely high quality and fit – the welding was great and the carbon cans never faded. They were going to be my first choice for the 14R except I don’t like the cans on this system. Maybe if they offered them in all carbon they would look less massive. The price is probably going to be higher than most other systems. I’m new to Kawasaki so am just learning of Brocks. Akras are considered top of the list if you talk to Yamaha people……..but they also think Two Brothers are the very worst…………so what do they know????

Those are a little bit too big, but because of the 14 R mensuration I think bigger exhaust(S) are needed for a harmonious look that is unless you go with something that has an Alien shape and fit IMHO.
I'm not a fan of the yellow on silver, the yellow on Carbon fiber is way better and I think he goes better with Green.
If I ever get a 14 again this is the set up I'm most likely to go with....ABS please?!

what experience do you have with Akrapovic syslems?

It will fit like a glove with Zero issues. I was looking at close up of the New Alein 2,,, hmmmm, maybe prototype,,,, The pic is Not Akrapovic Quality 4 sure.(Gaps in seems). The Akrapovic TI system is by far the nicest pro work I have ever seen to date. Does it make more power don't know. Ivan said yes lol Depends what your after I guess but Quality will never be a issue. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Greg if your looking it would appear the New A-2 went with bigger header Diameter like in their sidewinders as this bike keeps making power all the way up, even with the ECU rev extend mod. Something to consider as I can find no info on this from Akrapovic. Did they copy ?????

Hey people, I have had a set of Akra's on order since I ordered the bike a couple of months ago. They did send 2011 pipes (full carbon) and they did not fit on the brackets under the rear pegs. The replacements have not arrived yet but sure to be a good thing. The wallet doesn't like it much but the bike is going to look and sound heaps better all round.

We did order a power commander too but it did not fit the wiring loom, ;-(

I like it too and don't think the cans are too big.

$400 price drop since I ordered mine.. Nice, it all helps when they are that expensive... lol Size is nice, I rekon the others all look too small. It is a large bike after all....
