Hey Tahoe...I found lowering the shift pedal even one notch ruined my ability to shift.Believe it or not.Doesn't seem like it would, since it is adjustable...but...it wouldn't shift up from first, not without me having to stick the upper arch of my foot under the pedal and lifting....forcefully.It wasn't gonna work for me.The brake pedal...I think you can possibly loosen the keeper bolt, maybe, and adjust down a bit...not sure.If you DO lower the throw, you'll need to readjust your brake light switch by turning it at the top where the wire goes in.(remove the heel guard...then you can reach in there and turn by hand).I'm curious...if you have short legs, why would you want to lengthen the reach to the footpegs?

Hmm I might just heat and bend the levers a bit

Not too sure you can actually bend cast aluminum...without it totally melting first that is!If you've ever 'preheated' aluminum...it will look fine....just before it turns into liquid! But good luck there!

I moved the shift lever about 2 notches, I think it was. Shifts fine for me.

I also moved the foot brake down some. I ride with my toes down a lot, and before I moved the foot brake, I was depressing it without meaning to (but not engaging the caliper).

I'm using Buell Ulysses pegs, down 1-1/2 and forward 3/4 I think it is.

Hey privateer I see the adjustment for the shifter but the brake lever has a bracket around the lower adjustment nut making it impossible to move there any tricks to adjusting it

Ok..ya,I see what ya mean now.Sorry...wasn't tryin to sound like an a-hole.Just was wondering, that's all.I know I adjusted my brake pedal....but I THINK it only had to do with the switch adjustment thing. There is a turnable nut on that master housing.I believe if you turn that, you can lower the pedal...I think. Then you need to readjust the brake lamp switch up top.The throw is gonna be off...different.You want to be able to just BARELY press down on the pedal to have the lamp illuminate. You do that by turning the top switch(the body of the switch, not the plastic locknut) one way or the other...it's spring loaded. Then you secure the switch body with the locknut. You'll see it when ya start workin on it.

Ya..okay...just went and looked at mine.Loosen the locknut on the upper side of the bracket there.NOW....under that rubber skirt at the bolt top going into the switch housing there,at the bottom of the master cylinder,TURN THAT(it's a hex head) and adjust the pedal....retighten the locknut. Now readjust your switch by turning the switch body and resetting the plastic locknut on that.
