Yeah bad news for me this weekend too. My QS Pro took a dump this weekend and failed. Was warming up the bike for a ride and it just shut off. Dammit. only put a little over 300 miles on bike with it installed. They never sent me the blanking plug as requested, so I had to tear bike down to remove wiring harness. What a pain.
Ohh well lets see how they respond and what warranty will do.

Crap Blkcasper.
As you've probably read the same happened to me but I was out on the road.
Bike just stopped and failed to start again.
Sorry to hear your news.
And no blanking plug to get the bike going again in a couple of minutes.
That sucks. Important little part that.

It seems all initial MK1 QS Pro's have this issue. When I picked up the new replacement MKII, the distributer told me he had to replace pretty much every MKI. But he also advised that he had seen no issue so far with the MKII's.
As usual, his service was brilliant so I feel really sorry for him going though this with this product.
Kind of a poor effort from Annitori to release so early and not perform due diligence testing wise.
There will be a lot of unhappy people out there with early version MKI QS Pro quickshifters.

I guess I'm pretty lucky that a new HM Pro came up on EBay for such a good price and I swapped out quickshifters.
I'm also glad the the issue has apparentely been resolved by Annitori as I wouldn't want the guy I sold the new MKII to to have hassles.

What are you going to do now Blkcasper?
Perceiver with the MKII swap out or get a refund and spend a little more on another brand quickshifter?

Ill hqve to wait so see what they do warranty wise. But for my other bike ill look for an older hm or probably the healtech unit. As I got this one at a discounted price because my old rl quick shifter died and this was a warranty replacement.
Only good thing was I hadn't left my house yet when it failed. But wasted a good riding day on Sunday pulling bike apart to remove it.

So are you saying the new HMs are no good or just the Annitoris? I thought people were happy with their Annitori shifters. Is it just the new ones you set with an iPhone that are crapping out?

From my experience and understanding the HM Plus's are spot on and the initial release Annitori QS Pro's are faulty.
Plus you can't set the Annitori's with an iPhone 5 or previous. Only on an iPhone 6 or android phones unless things have changed...

LOL there is too much technology to keep track of things. People will have to ask exactly what model and what make to buy because I can't keep track of all of them. for the record, my HM Plus quickshifter has had no problems.

I have 2 HM and a Annitori shifter.....they had to send me 3 before one worked and the one I have sucks ass! the HM is the only way to go......If you don't have an androide you can't adjust the POS. guess what I don't have one! selling it as soon as I can get it off the bike.

Hey guys to help clear up a little confusion with the annitori and hm quickshifters.

HM was the original manufacturer of the series of quickshifters - rl light, hm and hm plus. They were partnered with annitori up until about a year ago. HM made there own line of quickshifters and made some for Anitori that were sold under the annitori name. The 2 company's split about a year ago. annitori designed there own quickshifter the Qs pro 4. Thats the one we are seeing failures with. Annitori is no longer associated with HM or the hm line of quickshifters. As far as I know there are very few problems with the HM line of quickshifters.

Unfortunally or fortunally most companies are going with the android app as a way to communicate with the quick shifters and other electronic products, GIPro cameras, TV's ect

There are now so many options as ather company's are now making there own line of stand alone quickshifter s.
Healtech, Bazzaz, dynojet. Ect...

And as I've not had a good response lately for the us Annitori distributer here i'll probally end up eating the cost of the QS Pro4 and going with something else....We'll see. Still waiting on a response for my warranty request.

Yeah, I knew I was taking a slight risk going with the newly designed and released Annitori QS Pro but the price was so good and it seemed to do exactly the same as the HM Plus (without the adjustment LCD unit).
Annitori QS Pro $399AU.
HM Plus $699AU.
I'm sure Annitori will get it right, but for the time being im back with HM as nothing beats years of experience and R&D.

Ya the HM is spensive but it works. Guess I woulda been fine with one of the first Annitorris to come out but now those have all been sold and they only have their inhouse product to offer.

You can still find the older units at places online like motomummy.com, bikebandit, ebay, ect. But as far as if needed warranty repairs ??????....don't know about support.

Well I've put a few miles on the HM Plus now and it has not missed a beat.
Smooth crisp shifts pretty much every time unless I screw it up.

Great quickshifter and worth every cent...

I look at this as a chance for Annitori to to improve their business. I guess they would do better to sell all the quickshifters they have made but if their is such a problem with them, selling them will damage their reputation in the longrun. I hope they fix the problem. If they need to raise the price to what similar products are selling at, that's a lot better than selling a product that doesn't work.
