Hi Guys/Girls,
What's your recommendation for the best non-o-ring chain lubricant?

40w oil

Preferably applied every time you go to the track.

I don't know that for a fact but I was warned about using a non-o-ring chain on the street. A lot of pros use a regular o-ring chain for competition only bikes because the gains from a non-o-ring chain are not worth the extra maintenance required to keep them rolling smoothly.

I just bought a new chain though and darned if those fresh o-rings aren't pretty snug. Matter of fact the old chain felt just about the same after about 37k miles of use but it had been waxed previously and perhaps stiff from being out in the cold air.
