Kriega on the Side

I ordered a US 30 Liter Kriega bag to strap to the rear seat cowl and two 10 Liter bags for each side.

Has anyone done this yet? I like the idea of one big bag for motel use and the two smaller ones for road use but I don't like that mile high stacking thing with bags mounted on top of bags reaching the upper atmosphere so that you cannot swing your leg over the top

Are you going to put the bag over the solo cowl or over the rear seat? I'd think the cowl would prevent a secure mount as well as get all scratched up.

You are right. How lazy can I get?! I'll remove the cowl for my trip and not have to worry about it.

I use a magnetic tank bag for local rides and wear a backpack. Trips are when I'll remove the cowl.

We need a Rook Racing tail cowl shroud for these situations.

I think the seat cowl would still get swirled up from stuff sliding around.
