Help! Won’t idle

17 with 11,300 miles. Has never had any past issues. Last Sunday we trailered a couple of hours away to a friends house to ride. Bike was running fine then about 10 miles in when I pulled in the clutch to stop the engine died. Wouldn’t start back up unless you gave it gas and wouldn’t idle on its own. Went ahead and rode it all day and it ran fine and didn’t throw and CEL or codes. Rode about 150 miles and trailered it back home. It has a PC5 but I unplugged it and plugged the bikes harnesses back up and it didn’t change anything. Removed the idle control actuator on the right side of the bike and it meters right at 20ohm as the manual specifies. Have continuity from there to the ECU on all 4 wires. Don’t have a peak voltage adapter so I can’t see if the ECU is outputting the right voltage to the actuator. Gonna see if I can find an ECU I can borrow to try that. What else can I check? I am stumped. thanks I’m advance.

Clogged fuel filter? That happens on these. The remedy on the Gen 1 was to replace the pre filter or else you had to replace the whole fuel pump which has a secondary filter built in. You can cut the pump open to have a look at the secondary filter. IDK if the Gen2 has the same kind of fuel filter as the Gen1 but it's worth considering.
