I've been perusing this site for two months now, gleaning all the info I can get before the big buy. Amazingly, none of the three dealerships here in vegas have any 14r's for sale. They all want bucks up front before they order. Kawasaki Zoo out in Pahrump, Nv. of all places had two bikes on order just to fill their showroom and needless to say, I pick mine up this friday. I've ridden a bike for 41 years except for the last year. My beloved zx11 burned up on the freeway about a year ago and since money doesn't grow on trees I've been saving up and the day has come. This site is great and I will be posting pics of the new bike this coming weekend.

My first bike was also a '68 Yamaha 100 twin, street bike, two stroke, with auto lube feed. Wow.

Hey Grn14, the dealer forgot to install. There shipping them to me. First day of riding it to work and back. Couldn't be sweeter. Sure a big change from my old 11. And Mr. Bean07, hello to you! Yes the wife is pissed and jealous because of our new addition. She keeps mentioning I'm supposed to buy her a truck!!??!! I didn't buy her anything when I got the 11, but when you've been married for over 30 years, ya got to come up with something I guess. Hope you guys are having a great day!!

I have the same color bud... love it! I dont know what kind of mileage you put on your scooters but the M5 tires got chewed up pretty quick.
If by 1000 miles your rear tire is squaring... you might want to go ahead and order a set and have them handy.

I dont ride super fast... but im big. My rear was down to the indicators at 2600. Im running Avon 3D Ultras now... have 800 on them and they show no wear thus far.

I can vouch for his mileage LOL.I met him for the first time and commented on his rear tire.Looked at the mileage sure enough 2600 miles.I'm not one to talk My 09 has 5900 miles and I'm on my third tire.Second front tire is starting to cup.Going to back off the preload in the front.Were going to ride down to Maryland Saturday to meet up with Privateer and some of his buddies from the Concours riding group.
