Hello my name is Big Mike I was born and raised in NJ. After High School I joined the Marine Corps where i served 13 yrs. After getting out of the Marine Corps I returned to NJ and became a Police Officer. I am married with two beautiful children ages 3 and 1. I have had several bikes starting with the 1995 Kawasaki Zx7r and then the Kawasaki 2000 zx12r (red) which was stolen after six months and then i got another 2000 zx12r (green). I sold my 12r in 2005 to help buy a home for me and my wife and in 2006 I bought a 06 Hayabusa but after two years on it I sold it to by the suzuki M109r due to the fact my first child was born and I wanted to slow down. After one year on it i got the itch again and so I went out and bought the 09 limited edition zx14r and I love it. So i have the best of both worlds. My wife says no more toys for now even though I want a quad but I will have to hold off for some time. I have just begun to modify the 14 so bare with me my exhaust should be here next week so i will post some more photos. Motorcycles for me is truly a passion. Recently in 09 NJ had its first AMA races which I was able to attend and I must admit I cant wait until this year for them to return. I plan to attend Daytona Bike week in 2011 and hopefully Sturgis one day. Until then I will be happy going 180mph and not have to worry about a ticket, perks of the job sorry.

Thanks for the service, BMike. You came down with that sickness too? 287 newly paved was my racing turf a long time ago. Found Old Bridge, then Englishtown raceway to be a lot safer and more keen on the leave. Small world. Have family in the police business. Love hearing those funny crime stories people put themselves into.

Thanks for the intro Mike. Former Devil Doc here. Just curious, after 13 years in the Corps, why the departure? You were well over the hump. My excuse is my wife wanted to actually see me and I risked being deployed overseas and, after 6 years and superfluous politics, I decided enough was enough.

Loadedmind I kinded of got out for the same reason also while in iraq i decided it wasnt for me anymore. I miss it very much dont get me wrong met some life long friends in and I saw the world. But I knew I wanted to go into law enforcement and I was getting old so i decided to get out. But while I am at it let me compliment you on your color choice.

Hub so you are from Jerz also. Yeah I had a real serious race on 287 a couple of years ago on my zx12 got my but handed to me by my friend on a mean hayabusa after that I was like the 12 is history but I am back now with the 14 and loving it. I am usualy at FudRuckers on RT1 on New Brunswick on wed for there bike night when its warm if you are ever out stop by.

I'm sorry BigMike, but those kinds of speeds make one a better driver in the patrol car. Shame on you!
