Last time out at Mojave in Oct 2016, I went thru the traps at 192.6. If I had not been so dern excited, I might have remembered to shift to 6th and I would already ( most likely) have the shirt :) Oh well this year I have a note taped on the tank ;)

Yeah, I thought their cost increase explanation was BS. With all the new regs like roll cages for cars over what 160 mph or something?? I think the attendance will be down and they they still have big fixed cost. I mean my old 911 will do 160 stock so what's the point of paying their heavy fees? IDK - frickin lawyers

BAd show today at Mojave. Got one shakedown run in and waiting for second run to be called . MC Rider went thru the traps at 207 and continued to the end of runway into the desert without ever shutting off the throttle..It was screaming and from what I could hear, never dropped any rpms until the crash..Which was fatal and caused the track to be shutdown for the day. I was only signed up for Sat so I chose to come on home. The Administration was working with each Sat only rider to either get them in Sunday of refund of sorts..Everyone was pretty shook up. I do not know riders name at this point.
