Is anyone riding the Alphabet Roads with the MMSTA in Spring Green Wisconsin on the weekend of the 15, 16, and 17th of May? I believe Peter Egan of CW had hand in originationg this ride some years ago. Here's a link:

Paul I'm in the Far Burbs in Gurnee very close to WI. I always miss that ride because I'm in Deals Gap every year during that time frame. I have done that run a few times but not with the group. It’s the best ridding you will find in IL\WI period.

You called it. Excellent ride. 110 riders this year and growing again. Rode thru terrible rain on the way up and started ride in freezing temperatures the next morning, but it was more than worth it. 300+ miles round trip on Saturday out and back to Spring Green; excellent roads, lots of curves hills and glaciated scenery; some very fast riders in the small self selected groups, but no incompetent out-of-control fools ieither. Everyone had a good time and I came back a better rider to boot

Hope to see more riders in attendance in future. There was one other ZX14 at the ride, but he was in a faster group than yours truly........ ;0 Yikes!
