Got a question guys and gals. My bike has about 8500 miles on it and I believe I'm hearing valve ping. Any suggestions about maintenance. Thanks Prod. tmpm2b@hotmail.comg

When I hear the ping, I ...
1. ... am on the throttle no matter the gear.
2. ... am on an incline in a high gear, low rpm.
3. ... am hearing it no matter throttle apply.
4. ... see WOT you mean, yes, I'm going to narrow it down some.
A. ... have the correct gas, but did my station change to corn or it's cold and they still have the corn flowing.
B. ... have been hearing it just after I __________ fill in the blank last time I worked on it.
C. ... have a minor, hard time starting it, and then it idles kind of rough now that you mention it.

Bike starts great. Not sure about fuel type at gas station I do use top grade.have used octane boost didn't improve. Bike seems to ping in a taller gear with throttle at slow speed. Incline doesn't make a difference. Think I hear a ping at an idle but not sure. Thank you feel free to email me tmpm2b@hotmail

See that combo? Lots of throttle load in a higher gear @ slow speeds. No matter the gear, you hear the ping, shift down to the next gear, see if that clears the pinging.
Well, you seem not to have an air leak to cause a lean issue. I'm going to assume you did not mod the bike and then the issue began? We clear on that? The other would be to run a different gas. Are we running the cheap shit at joeblow fill me up?
