Looks sick. Kawi already has either a super charged or turbo engine in there top of the line jet ski. Based on the zx14 motor. Whhhoo hoo let the good times begain

Kawa came out with a turbo street bike back several years ago...and Honda as well.These aren't new...relatively speaking.

I think they are playing out the cards one little step at a time. 2014 supercharged 600, 2016 superchaged 1000, finally the superchaged 1500. That's when I will buy new again.

Photoshop 'chrome.' Look at the breather tube or outlet or something over the countershaft chain guard guide rail. I tried to work with chrome. It's more for an artist's eye to get all the shadows and chrome to cause the effect.

Diff engine block. It would be pointless when you can easily build a turbo 14. Superchargers are cool, but inferior.

Why are superchargers inferior to TC's ? I understand a TC uses otherwise "wasted" exhaust stream for its power supply, so it is some ways more efficient than a SC, but with a SC it's running off the belt, so you don't have to "wait" quite as long for the boost, I know the newer TC's are much more advanced than the older ones ...

Not saying you are wrong, I am just trying to learn new things all the time ....

Im saying what little I know about turbo and even with the newer quickier spooling turbos...Supercharger gives power for ilde on up and a turbo still makes you wait even if its a lot faster now, you still have to wait on spent exhaust, just my opinion from what little I know, school me if I'm off here.

On the Taco 22, I remember wiring the governer (as they called it) to get the full potential of the engine, the other kids didnt know how to do it, so mine was faster ! LOL !

Unless technology has changed since my high school years of car obsessions, turbo's have lag. Lag has no place on a 300hp+ motorcycle, Superior to a supercharger or not.

Electric displacement will be the future. That growl from the combustion chamber will be mourned.

I believe the Lag issues changed to the pitch of the blades. Other exotic is a mechanical curve or the blades moving as one so the pitch ratchets with that linear rpm move.

Apples to oranges, you still wait for an air rush with turbo. Gear to gear, no waiting. So turbo is a windmill waiting. The super is an oil pump drive think is solid liquid gas, who cares, cash waiting! And if it's just 10's quicker, I'll sick with the slow one I have now. If it's seconds quicker and I mean a couple of seconds? Reach around ready.
