According to the Urban Dictionary:
Squid
A young motorcyclist who overestimates his abilities, boasts of his riding skills when in reality he has none. Squid bikes are usually decorated with chrome and various anodized bits. Rear tyres are too wide for their own good, swingarm extended. Really slow in the corners, and sudden bursts of acceleration when a straight appears. Squids wear no protection, deeming themselves invincible. This fact compounds intself with the fact that they engage in 'extreem riding'--performing wheelies and stoppies in public areas. Squids wreck alot. Derived from 'squirly kid'

We were suddenly passed by a chromed out R1 and then when we rounded the bend, we saw the squid wrapped around a tree, he'd probably be alive if he was wearing a helmet.

I always saw a squid as a newbie that's mostly dangerous to himself, while a squirrel is a somewhat experienced but reckless rider that endangers others too.

Squid - (n) An immature, attention-starved male attempting to show off by riding a loud, flashy sportbike un-safely while wearing little to no protective gear. The more chrome, the better. The more decals, the better. Common attire: Flip-flops, shorts and a wife beater. Embarrassing crash forthcoming.

Typical squid moves.
1st observation is to watch them at a light. Clutch in and revving on occasion, if not one blip after the other.
2nd is to watch them leave the light. Are they dragging their feet thru the intersection? As soon as the bike moves it's balanced, but those feet still off the pegs after 3 inches of movement screams squid-like.
3rd mentality is the female is as skin and flip-flop vulnerable as the bike owner and what does she know? Soon to have 'scars for life, bro.'
4th move is when you can hear them coming. That chain is so worn out it waaa-waaa's so loud it screams Squid!

Signature Squids. Vic, they are all over and highly contagious.
1. Signature spiked helmets and other crap glued/screwed to its design idea.
2. Signature cutoffs with all the buttons and patches.
3. Signature accessory lights... like way too many.
4. Signature weave like a snake; going back and forth in his own lane.
5. Signature poet spiking at the squids.
6. Signature moment when a squid yells STFU to another squid.
(Romes is about cracking up now)

Wolfy, the pic shows no squildlyness.
1. Untouched helmet and that rendering of the artist.
2. Proper riding attire and a single patch of the artist's untouched rendering.
3. Oh wait, hold on. Classic Squid Posture we have the passenger pegs down and said rider's feet are placed there. Nope, just forgot to fold it back up is all.
Like I said, no squidding around, Wolfy the Weaver. LOL
